Marach

Marach was the Matriarch of House Marach, and was an Apostle and Prophetess of Sophia,

 and later became the Chosen of Sophia to create the House of Marach and establish it as the chosen house of the Aeons to lead the Danemar in the faith. She led her house until her death in 3379 living to the venerable age of 267. Certain Gaeatoic writings indicate that Marach's body turned to ash on her deathbed and her spirit, like a flame, ascended into the heavens. 

Marach was extremely influential in the early days of the Danemar when the Twelve Houses were young and nearly all Danes worshiped the Aeons. In those days the clergy of the Aeons, and indeed all appointed and ordained priests of the Gaeatos were men. Marach was not a priestess, but she wielded the power of the Aeons as well or better than any of the clerical priests of the Aeons. Her prophecies led the Danes to follow and heed her words, even above the High Priests. Eventually the clergy of the Temples plotted against her and were going to have her execute for worshiping demons and selling her soul for power, but as they were ready to kill her, a vision of Sophia came and declared Marach as her chosen, and the foretold that the House of Marach would become her chosen house to lead the faithful. The High Priests of Sophia bowed low to her accepting the vision of Sophia as divine and the will of the Aeons. 

Marach died in the year 3379 of the First Age, and upon her death, and in full view of the priests and priestesses of the Aeons, her body was consume by fire and her spirit, like a bright flame, fled into the heavens.

Shortly after her death, Marach was declared a Saint of the faith.
